NVQ2 HairdressingWhat will I study?The aim of this programme is to provide a professional training in hairdressing techniques. It is essential that you are in a work placement for one day per week for the duration of the course to develop salon experience. You'll have the benefit of developing your skills in a well-equipped salon and specialist teaching rooms. This course enables you to learn a range of hairdressing skills such as shampooing, conditioning, advising and consulting with clients, cutting hair, perming and colouring techniques. You will improve your understanding of science and develop your functional skills in English, Maths and ICT skills as an integral part of the course.You need:4 GCSE grades A*-D or a Level 1 Hairdressing qualification.Level: 2 Duration: 1 yearCoursework/Exam (%): 100/0What can it lead to?Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing, employment within the Hairdressing industry, Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.Qualifications
